Anagramatic web poetry

Using the text “Towards A Philosophy of Photography” by Vilém Flusser, Barchael has taken excerpts, mangled them as anagrams, then used the resulting text to search for web images to combine with the text. The resulting project can be found here.

Remix and I

In this collaborative mad-lib approach to remixing “Borges and I” by Jorge Luis Borges, we deconstructed the original text and then reconstructed it by alternating our entries.

New projects and processes

Barchael is currently working on a new exhibition tentatively scheduled for mid-October. There is a lot of work to do, so we will share more as it happens. Until then, take a look at some of the other projects we’ve been playing with. Be sure to follow the links underneath each video.

Barchael had a very productive evening of food, beverages, and ambitious planning for multiple projects. These are all in the planning phases, but here is a sneak at one, which should be put into action soon. Please keep checking the site, as we should have some new postings in the not-so-distant future.

Here is the new barchael video project “You Know You’re In Space Because…“. This is a video loop which deals with distance, dislocation, and miscommunication. The loop creates a never-ending selection of possibilities for gaps that happen between people. In the installation, the viewer is implicated in the scenario by being the only connection point between both explorers in the videos.
